The Drome
Small Sized Humanoids
Move Speed 20ft
-2 Str, +2 Dexterity, +2 Charisma
Shadowy Resistance: Drome’s have SR of 11+Hit Die. They do not have this ability when exposed to sunlight or magical effects that duplicate sunlight.
Spell Like Abilities: Darkness 1/day, Faerie Fire 1/day, Ghost Sound 1/day, Prestidigitation 1/day
Speak with Animals and Vermin: Drome’s can speak with burrowing animals or vermin 1/day as if they were using Speak with Animals.
Level Adjustment: +1

This is the "New Drome". I think its sufficiently balanced now as opposed to before where it was just a bit better than it should have been.

Silence is Truth (Ritual)
Requirements: ECL 6th, +1 LA or Higher
Benefits: None
Special: If you have the feat “Silence is” you may take this feat a second time.

Silence is Power (Ritual)
Requirements: ECL 6th, Silence is Truth, +1 LA or Higher
Benefits: None
Special: If you have the feat’s “Silence is” and “Silence is Truth” twice, you may take this feat a second time.

Silence is (Ritual)
Requirements: ECL 6th, Silence is Truth, Silence is Power, +1 LA or Higher
Benefits: Reduce your LA by 1 permanently. The next time you gain 5,000 experience you gain a class level instead of a bonus feat.
Special: If you have this feat once, and “Silence is Truth” and “Silence is Power” twice you may take this feat again.

These feats represent the acceptance of the poems and philosophy of Gerkos the Poet. The "Ritual" is a spiritual acceptance akin to enlightenment. Since the stanza is so open to interpritation there is no code that anyone who follows these tenants must follow, and the increase in power can come to people with very different interpretations.
